Riu a l'Ebre was born on 2012 by Juan Franch, a marsh harrier, used to fly over the rice fields, and Mª José Vergés, an european lapwing, who discovered the Delta and felt in love of his colors, his wet soil and sea smell, his people, his gastronomy and his landscape.
During a crisis period grew an opportunity, to create an ecotourist project for get know the Delta de l'Ebre for the visitants: his amazing beauty, his changes, gastronomy, his people idiosyncrasy, his traditions, respecting the environment and its fragility.
Declared Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO and one of the 100 most sustainable destinations for the International Global Green Destinations, the Delta del Ebre is a natural treasure with many singularities that impregnate the visitant. In this film scenery, we sail with kayak, we pedal through rice fields, lagoons and canals, while the flamingos lift up the fly, or we cook a rice, savoring to the last grain.
