Bicycle route, cyclotourism

We start the route at Riu a l’Ebre and head to the right along the river walk until we reach the bridge "Lo Passador". We go up the ramp and continue straight along Girona Street. At the end of the street we cross the road and the small bridge that crosses the canal.
We pedal for 80 m, we turn right to cross the road and then left, leaving the cemetery behind, then turn right again. About 600 m later we take the path to the left for about 2,6 km until you find a warehouse with a gray fence. Then we turn right and follow the road until we reach the white house, "Elevació de Florença", where the drainage system starts.

We take the path on the left side of the booth that will lead us to the pumping station of Illa de Mar Port. At this point we turn to the right bordering the bay. This is a fantastic place to observe all kind of birds: lagoon eagle, flamingos, herons, seagulls, …

At the end of the road we turn right and, after 1,6 km, we turn right again and follow the road for 2,2 km, there we will see an old fireworks launch house (a small construction that was used to store petards, which were launched to the clouds to prevent hail storms). Then we find the road leading to the Marquesa Beach. We turn right and at next crossroads, to the left, following the road until we see a bridge that crosses a canal and which we must pass; we pedal parallel to the canal course during 2,2 km and trace the road curve, where we will turn left.
At the next crossroads we turn right, we continue straight along the Marquesa Beach road during 2,4 km and we will be back to the path we took after the cemetery, we are now reaching back to Riu a l'Ebre.
